Heidi Grossman
Ms. Grossman has been project manager on many of Grunwald Associates’ best known studies, including research projects for the Educational Testing Service, Microsoft, Kodak and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Prior to joining Grunwald Associates, Ms. Grossman worked as an investment banker and a high-level information technology project manager.
Ms. Grossman served as a Project Leader in the Portfolio Operations Group at the International Finance Corporation/World Bank, where she led cross-functional project teams to track, evaluate and report on the IFC’s loan and equity portfolio. She designed a series of monthly financial reports used by senior management.
As a Corporate Analyst in the International Advisory Group of Lehman Brothers, Ms. Grossman advised governments of developing countries on financial matters, including Peru, Zaire, Togo, Senegal, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Mozambique and Indonesia. She Worked in London and Paris to prepare financial scenarios for Togo and Senegal during London Club and Paris Club debt negotiations. On the technical side, she also wrote design specifications, evaluated and selected hardware, hired and supervised computer programmers, and trained users of sophisticated financial modeling packages.
After working at the World Bank and Lehman Brothers she was a consultant to the Merchant banking Department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London.
Ms. Grossman has also been Project Manager at MCI, where she managed interdepartmental teams throughout the life-cycle development process to support new voice and data products. She acted as liaison between the Marketing and Systems Engineering Departments, and led regular briefings and presentations to senior management.
Ms. Grossman has worked in education as a special needs paraeducator in the Montgomery County, Maryland public schools.
Ms Grossman attended the University of California, Santa Cruz and Columbia University.
